Greediness drives human being to do things against the environment as long as it is cheap, profitable, and easy.
Environmental damage has come to a very devastating state. Ice meltdown at north and south pole has caused the sea level increases overtime, lakes and rivers start to dry, global warming caused by the increase of carbon level on the atmosphere due to uncontrolled industrialization, ineffective energy use, etc. On the other side, forests at the tropical are destroyed continually, thus their role as the world lung and carbon dioxide neutralizer is gradually decreasing as well. Sea, which is the biggest source of oxygen in the world, has become the biggest garbage bin. Sea resources are exploited aggressively causing the damage of the sea ecosystem, that has been stable for thousands of years. Overall, these things also cause the damage of the world ecosystem as well. The increase of the world's temperature found its peak during 2009-2011, and the trend is still going overtime.
The extreme climate change starts from the ecosystem damage itself and will produce domino effect all around the world. Extreme weather during summer or winter, natural disaster, new case of diseases, etc which also happen at the tropical countries, are some of the effects of the global warming case.
